Who writes here

Inge Van Hoof has followed the Belgian gambling market since 2021 and opens an account at every operator with an emphasis on apps and payment flows. Active from Hasselt.

How we test. we create a player account ourselves, carry out a real deposit, request payout and record the turnaround. Every operator goes past the Gaming Commission's white and black lists and compare the promise with the conditions.

Our income comes from affiliate commissions; that does not change what the review says. The black list is named even when it costs us.

Weekly limit, age bar and exclusion

The rules on player protection here run more tightly than the Netherlands or France and it is built that way on purpose. Every licensed site applies a default deposit limit of €200 per week.

The Gaming Commission keeps one central exclusion register in EPIS: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. Unlicensed sites are not connected to it. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; scratch cards and Lotto stay at 18. Without valid ID you do not get through.
